An update from the 'Pay What You Can' initiative offered by Albion Rovers for their game against Montrose in the Scottish League.
The game attracted plenty of media interest north of the border and even filtered through to the south thanks to Sky Sports News.
Over 700 people came through the turnstiles and although the event was staged primarily to improve on (already good) links to the local community, chairman John Devlin has tweeted the hard facts that show what a success it was.
'FYI Crowd increase of 125%. Gate receipt increase of 160%. Cafe/shop/add-ons increase of 165%.'
Well done to everyone involved (and Albion won the game to secure a welcome three points as well).
