International Football in the Midlands and a World Cup Showdown in Wales

The FA Under-17 international tournament will take place later this month across five venues within easy reach of St George's Park in Burton and England's Young Lions are in action three times.

They take on the Czech Republic on Wednesday 27 August at Aggborough, home of Kidderminster Harriers, Portugal two days later at Chesterfield's Proact Stadium and finish off on Sunday 31 August against Italy at the Pirelli Stadium, home of Burton Albion.
The three other games in the tournament will take place at Alfreton Town (two matches) and Tamworth FC. Tickets for all fixtures are priced at £3 for adults and £1.50 for under-16's.

Also taking place shortly, England Under-20’s against their Romanian counterparts at AFC Telford on Friday 5 September which is also priced at £3 and £1.50.

Qualification for the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada is coming down to the crucial fixtures and Cardiff City host one of these on Thursday 21 August when Wales meet England in Group Six.
England (impressive friendly winners against Sweden on Sunday) have a 100% record to date and can seal their place at the finals with a victory but the hosts still have hopes of their own and know that a win will take the battle for top spot to the final round of games.

The FAW hope to attract a record crowd for a women's international and tickets are priced at just £5 for adults and £2 for juniors and senior citizens.
