My Dad had an enjoyable evening on Tuesday as Trafford FC and Kendal Town shared the spoils in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North and spotted in the programme that the Shawe View club are celebrating Non League Day in a big way.
Radcliffe Borough are the visitors on Saturday 10th October and there will be free admission for Armed & Emergency Services and NHS Workers as well as free admission for all local schools and clubs.
In addition there will be free hot dogs and drinks for kids and drinks at the bar will be 'buy one, get one free'.
Founded in 1990 as North Trafford, Trafford have progressed from the Mid-Cheshire League to their present position and continue to try, amidst a lot of local competition in the Manchester area, and be a focal point in their community.
