A pre-season tournament celebrating Gloucestershire football, the Severn Sport Shield takes place next week with four matches scheduled to be played at Thornhill Park, home of Slimbridge AFC.
Gloucester City, Tuffley Rovers and Longlevens AFC also take part with games set to take place on Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th (Thursday if England are in the World Cup semi-finals) and a double-header on Saturday 14th.
Admission each day is priced at £5 Adults and £3 Concessions (so two games for the price of one on the Saturday) but a tournament ticket is also available at £10 Adults, £6 Concessions.
