Back To The Eighties With Millwall!

Having seen their home game against Middlesbrough on the final Saturday before Christmas (21 December) moved to a 5:30pm kick-off time for live television coverage, Millwall have come up with a great offer to persuade fans to watch the game in person.

The Lions have rolled back prices to 1988/89 levels with admission pegged at £5 for all including travelling Middlesbrough fans.

Traditionally gates on the last Saturday before the Christmas have been lower as last-minute shopping takes precedence but Millwall are one of a number of clubs who are making an effort to change that.

Tranmere Rovers are also charging just £5 for their game on Friday 20 December at home to Gillingham (7:45pm) while the following Saturday there are also offers at Birmingham City and Notts County.

Blues are charging £10 for all areas of the ground against Nottingham Forest and by extending the offer to away fans have seen Forest already ask for more tickets on top of their 2,007 allocation.

Notts County's 'Christmas Cracker' against Bristol City has seen them reduce prices to £12 for adults and £2 for under-16's in home areas of the ground.
