A Big Night For Hendon FC

Proud members of the Isthmian League since 1963 and having always played in the top division of that competition, Hendon FC have been ground-sharing since leaving their Claremont Road home in September 2008, currently at the Earlsmead home of Harrow Borough.

But the Greens are in the process of upgrading their new home at Silver Jubilee Park and are able to play their first competitive game there this coming Thursday against Corinthian Casuals in the London Senior Cup (they are unable to currently host games at SJP in the league or other cups).

Admission prices have been reduced for the occasion with Adults £5 and Under-16's £1. Kick-off is at 7:45pm and more info on the club can be found on the official Hendon FC website.

A quick line on Hendon's opponents in their first game as the Corinthian Casuals, who still strive to 'promote fair play and sportsmanship' while playing competitively as amateurs at the highest possible level, held a 'Pay What You Want' day yesterday (Saturday 21st March) for their home match against Herne Bay.
