Salisbury FC

Just under a year ago I wrote about a crowd of 2,217 at the game between Salisbury City and Kidderminster Harriers in the Football Conference after weeks of hard work by Salisbury officials, supporters and players to promote the club.

Fast forward to March 2015 and a phoenix club called Salisbury FC are fighting to start next season in the Raymond McEnhill Stadium after the demise of City in the summer of 2014. The stadium was given to the city of Salisbury in 1997 but the trustees have so far been unwilling to discuss use with the men behind the new club.

A petition that aims to change that situation is available to sign at Change.org
