A quick mention to Diss Town of the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League who hold an excellent open day next Saturday (July 11) which includes free entry for all to the pre-season friendly against Norwich United, last season's Premier League winners, which kicks-off at 3pm.
Get there earlier than that, however, as there is a free ice-cream waiting for Under-11's on arrival, a special mascot and other activities for the family.
