A first ever Friday night home fixture for West Didsbury & Chorlton FC, of the North West Counties League Premier Division, and a derby to boot against Maine Road FC looks like a good way to start your weekend if you are in that particular part of Manchester.
A bumper crowd had been expected for the original game on Easter Bank Holiday Monday but a waterlogged pitch put paid to that and West, with the agreement of other scheduled opponents, have managed to reschedule it for a date that should again see good numbers coming through the turnstiles.
Usual admission prices are £5 Adults, £3 Concessions and accompanied Under-12’s free.
There continues to be plenty of clubs offering special admission deals this coming Saturday as their seasons draw to a close.
