A first visit to Shawe View, home of Trafford FC, on Saturday and a very warm welcome from everyone at the turnstile and selling programmes and raffle tickets.
Visitors Farsley Celtic probably shaded the first-half but the introduction of the wily Aaron Burns in attack inspired Trafford to a 3-0 victory which keeps alive their play-off hopes in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North.
The last scheduled home fixture of the season takes place on Tuesday 12 April when Glossop North End are the visitors for a 7:45pm kick-off.
