Five for the Weekend

A handful of matches that may be of interest over the coming weekend.

On Friday evening there is the chance to watch how the Under-16 teams of England and Spain are shaping up when they meet in a friendly at Harrison Park, the home of Leek Town.

Under-16 internationals are usually played behind closed doors but this match will act as a warm up for next year's UEFA European Under-17 Championship in England and admission to the 7pm kick-off is priced at £3 Adults and £1.50 Concessions.

Chelsea and Manchester City Under-23's meet in Premier League 2  at the home of Aldershot FC on Saturday, kick-off 1pm and admission is priced at £3 and £1. (This is a change from the original time of 7:05pm on Friday evening).

Dagenham & Redbridge FC host their annual ‘Daggers Against Racism’ Day when Guiseley are the visitors to East London for a National League clash on Saturday afternoon.

Tickets purchased ahead of the day of the game are priced from just 50p for Concessions (Over 65, 10-16-year-olds) and £2.50 for Adults on the terraces with free admission for Under-10’s when accompanied by a paying Adult.

The Fourth Round of the FA Women's Cup takes place on Sunday and Coventry United will be hoping to cause another upset against a team from WSL2 after defeating Oxford United last time out.

Aston Villa Ladies are the opponents this weekend in a 2pm kick-off at Butlin Road, home of Rugby Town FC, with admission priced at £4 Adults, £3 Concessions and £1 Children.

There is also free football on Sunday afternoon at 12pm when Manchester United Under-23’s return to Leigh Sports Village for a Premier League 2 fixture against Reading.
