With the full-time whistle being blown on a 4-0 victory against their Highland rivals Inverness Caley Thistle just before I wrote this piece, these are good times for Ross County with their safety in the Scottish top-flight all but ensured for next season.
An excellent history on the official club website tells the story of the club from Dingwall since their formation in 1929, through their election to the Scottish Football League in 1994 and promotion to the SPL in 2012 and culminating in last year's Scottish League Cup triumph at Hampden Park.
Both Ross County and Hamilton Accies supporters will be able to watch the Staggies final home game of the season, on Tuesday 16th May at 7:45pm, for free with tickets available from the club shop from Monday and then the ticket office on the day of the game.
