Trio Of Free Matches In Northern Ireland

A great gesture from all concerned as three matches in the Danske Bank Premiership, abandoned on 2 January due to Storm Eleanor, will have free admission on the re-arranged dates.

Premiership referees and officials have waived their match fees for the fixtures at Cliftonville (against Ballymena United on 6 February), Glentoran (versus Warrenpoint Town on 27 February) and Ards (against Glenavon which does not have a new date.

NI Football League Managing Director Andrew Johnston told the official website: "We want to express our thanks to the clubs in their decision to put the supporters first and make the rescheduled fixtures from the abandoned games free admission.

"Thanks also to the Premiership referees for their kind gesture ahead of these three fixtures."
