The first details regarding tickets for next summer’s World Cup have been announced with an initial window for residents in the host nation France before they go on sale to supporters elsewhere on 19 October.
With the Men's Euro 2020 competition spread across the continent (and the semi-finals and final at Wembley) and the 2022 World Cup scheduled for Qatar it means chances to get that 'tournament feeling' are few and far between in the next few years.
That makes a summer in France, easily accessible with good stadiums (the Parc des Princes in Paris hosts the opening game and six more matches) and a great country to visit, an appealing one and ticket prices look as though they will be realistic with three-match packages starting at €25.
England begin their preparations for the tournament in earnest with a double-header of friendlies early next month.
They take on Brazil at Notts County on Saturday 6th October (12.30pm) and Australia at Fulham on Tuesday 9th (7pm). Tickets are £10 Adults, £1 Concessions.
