Tranmere Rovers, Accrington Stanley & Corinthian Casuals

League Two football may be on the cards for Tranmere Rovers' supporters this coming season but the Merseyside club have reduced their matchday prices for the coming campaign.

Adult prices now start at £15 for the Kop Stand with Seniors and Young Person's (17-22) priced at £9.

Speaking to his club's official website, chief executive Jeremy Butler said: "We were already one of the cheapest clubs in the region and now we’re even better value for money for supporters."

Accrington Stanley's innovative attempts to build their fan base have been featured here on Affordable Football over the past year and this week the club announced a new initiative that will see Season Tickets offered for free to all Year 6 pupils at 37 schools in the borough of Hyndburn.

"I’m sure a lot of their parents have a soft spot for the club," said boss James Beattie.

"Hopefully this is the first step towards bringing the local community through the turnstiles at the Store First Stadium."

Details on the official websites of both clubs.

This weekend, meanwhile, in addition to the 4-team tournament taking place at Gretna FC which we highlighted earlier in the week there is a similar event being hosted by Corinthian Casuals.

The Geoff Harvey Memorial Vase, featuring four Ryman League teams, kicks off at 11am on Saturday and all four matches can be seen for £12.

Affordable Football aims to bring you the special offers, reduced ticket prices and family deals that make catching a match anywhere in the country more affordable. You can tweet us @affordablefooty or email affordablefootball@yahoo.com if your club are doing something worth hearing about.
