It's one of the pleasures of Affordable Football that I come across clubs I hadn't heard of before who, no matter what level of the game they play at, are trying their utmost to provide football to the local community and be a part of that community.
Eynesbury Rovers, first formed in 1897, and currently of the United Counties League are one such club and they are running not one, but two, 'Pay What You Want' matches between now and the end of the season.
On Saturday 18th April they host Oadby Town and one week later it is Thurnby Nirvana who visit the Alfred Hall Memorial Ground. A £1 minimum fee will apply to cover costs but Under-16's, as always for home matches, can enter for free.
