Blue Kit and Reduced FA Cup Prices at Cardiff City!

Optimism seemed in short supply at Cardiff City as recently as the beginning of January with the club struggling in the Championship and playing in red kit of front of just  4,194 fans against Colchester United in the FA Cup, the lowest ever attendance at the Cardiff City Stadium.

With the mask of the Premier League now gone, the division between club and fans has perhaps been more evident, prompting owner Vincent Tan to set up a consultative meeting between club officials and a cross-section of supporters and subsequently agreeing a return to traditional colours with immediate effect.

Hopefully the move back to blue will help heal some of the wounds that have opened up over the past couple of seasons and a crowd of 22,515 against Fulham on Saturday created a terrific atmosphere.

The club have reduced prices for the 4th Round FA Cup tie against Reading which takes place on Saturday 24 January.

Season ticket holders and advance purchasers can buy tickets for the game at £10 adults (concessions £8, under-16's £5) while matchday prices are £12, £10 and £5.
