The League Cup 3rd Round draw which handed them a trip to face Manchester United has been dominating the thoughts of Ipswich Town supporters over the past few days as the logistics of getting a ticket and travelling to Old Trafford will have been uppermost in their minds.
But the Suffolk club have announced two ticket offers for the matches either side of their trip to Manchester which hopefully will ensure some healthy attendances at Portman Road as Mick McCarthy once again tries to mount a promotion challenge on a budget that pales into comparison with many other clubs in the division.
The televised home game against Birmingham City on Friday 18th September is Kids for a Quid for Under-16's while season ticket holders can buy up to four additional tickets for the match against Bristol City on Saturday 26th for £10 Adults, £8 Concessions and £3 Juniors.
Up at Carrow Road there are three good opportunities to catch the Canaries in action in September.
So good at promoting their Under-21 fixtures as a family-friendly event, Norwich's development side take on PSV Eindhoven in the Premier League International Cup on Wednesday 2nd and then Liverpool in a league fixture on Monday 21st . Tickets to both games, which are 7pm kick-offs) are available free.
Meanwhile, City's Capital One Cup tie against fellow Premier League club West Bromwich Albion (Wednesday 23rd, 7:45pm) has been attractively priced at £10 for Adults and Over-65's and just £1 for Under-17's.
